The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator replaces the Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator which is currently found on automatic Crewsaver lifejackets - including; ErgoFit+, ErgoFit, Crewfit 180N Pro/ HD/HF, Crewfit 150N Junior, Seacrewader 290N 3D, Crewfit XD (non-wipe clean) range arriving August 2019.
Features:
- Being 13mm shorter and 4 grams lighter than the original Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator the Elite Inflator range also benefits from a more rounded design and improved manual lever retention.
- The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator provides additional improvement on the standard MK5 Automatic Inflator, affording the user one point of status indication to confirm that the unit has been automatically or manually activated. The unit also provides the added benefit of detecting if the Co² cylinder has been pierced, eradicating the possibility of accidentally fitting an empty gas cylinder. As with the UML MK5 Inflator the great benefit of this inflation system is the functionality of the automatic override which under normal operating conditions activate within 3 seconds of the system being submerged in water.
- The automatic capsule contains a powerful spring which is compressed and retained in place using a paper element. Once the paper element becomes wet, it releases the spring which pushes a plunger forward enabling a cutter to pierce the Co² gas cylinder. The Co² gas from the cylinder instantly passes through the inflator head, inflating the lifejacket.

- Omdat hij 13 mm korter en 4 gram lichter is dan de originele Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator profiteert de Elite Inflator-reeks ook van een ronder ontwerp en verbeterde handmatige hendelretentie.
- De Pro Sensor Elite® Automatische Inflator biedt een extra verbetering ten opzichte van de standaard MK5 Automatische Inflator, omdat de gebruiker nu op één punt een statusindicatie heeft om te bevestigen dat de unit automatisch of handmatig geactiveerd is. Het apparaat biedt ook het extra voordeel dat het detecteert of de Co²-cilinder is doorboord, waardoor de mogelijkheid om per ongeluk een lege gascilinder aan te brengen wordt uitgesloten. Net als bij het UML MK5 Inflator is het grote voordeel van dit inflatiesysteem de functionaliteit van de automatische override die onder normale gebruiksomstandigheden binnen 3 seconden wordt geactiveerd nadat het systeem in het water is ondergedompeld.
- De automatische capsule bevat een krachtige veer die wordt samengedrukt en op zijn plaats wordt gehouden door een papieren element. Zodra het papieren element nat wordt, laat het de veer los die een plunjer naar voren duwt waardoor een snijder de Co²-gascilinder kan doorboren. Het Co²-gas uit de cilinder stroomt onmiddellijk door de opblaaskop, waardoor het reddingsvest wordt opgeblazen.
