The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator replaces the Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator which is currently found on automatic Crewsaver lifejackets - including; ErgoFit+, ErgoFit, Crewfit 180N Pro/ HD/HF, Crewfit 150N Junior, Seacrewader 290N 3D, Crewfit XD (non-wipe clean) range arriving August 2019.
Features:
- Being 13mm shorter and 4 grams lighter than the original Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator the Elite Inflator range also benefits from a more rounded design and improved manual lever retention.
- The Pro Sensor Elite® Automatic Inflator provides additional improvement on the standard MK5 Automatic Inflator, affording the user one point of status indication to confirm that the unit has been automatically or manually activated. The unit also provides the added benefit of detecting if the Co² cylinder has been pierced, eradicating the possibility of accidentally fitting an empty gas cylinder. As with the UML MK5 Inflator the great benefit of this inflation system is the functionality of the automatic override which under normal operating conditions activate within 3 seconds of the system being submerged in water.
- The automatic capsule contains a powerful spring which is compressed and retained in place using a paper element. Once the paper element becomes wet, it releases the spring which pushes a plunger forward enabling a cutter to pierce the Co² gas cylinder. The Co² gas from the cylinder instantly passes through the inflator head, inflating the lifejacket.

- Elite Inflator-serien er 13 mm kortere og 4 gram lettere enn den originale Pro Sensor® Automatic Inflator, og har også et mer avrundet design og forbedret manuell spakretensjon.
- Pro Sensor Elite® automatisk oppblåsingsenhet er en ytterligere forbedring i forhold til standard MK5 automatisk oppblåsingsenhet, og gir brukeren én statusindikasjon som bekrefter at enheten har blitt aktivert automatisk eller manuelt. Enheten har også den ekstra fordelen at den registrerer om det er hull i Co²-flasken, slik at det ikke er mulig å montere en tom gassflaske ved et uhell. Som med UML MK5 Inflator er den store fordelen med dette oppblåsingssystemet funksjonaliteten til den automatiske overstyringen, som under normale driftsforhold aktiveres innen 3 sekunder etter at systemet er senket ned i vann.
- Den automatiske kapselen inneholder en kraftig fjær som komprimeres og holdes på plass ved hjelp av et papirelement. Når papirelementet blir vått, frigjør det fjæren, som skyver et stempel fremover slik at en kutter kan stikke hull på Co²-gassflasken. Co²-gassen fra sylinderen passerer øyeblikkelig gjennom oppblåsingshodet og blåser opp redningsvesten.
