Great performance doesn't have to come with a big price tag. The new Billabong Absolute Core is a budget-friendly wetsuit designed to give you everything you need.
Whether you're buying your first proper winter wetsuit, getting back into surfing or simply looking for a dependable suit without stretching the budget, the Absolute Core delivers an impressive combination of warmth, flexibility, comfort and durability.
The Absolute Core also features Recycler Pro Stretch, a flexible recycled nylon construction designed to provide a soft feel and plenty of stretch. This helps make the suit easier to get into and keeps it comfortable when you're spending hours in the water.
Underneath, Graphene Pro thermal lining adds another layer of warmth and comfort. Graphene Pro is engineered to provide a balance of flexibility and thermal performance, using graphene-infused recycled fibres to help retain heat without making the suit feel unnecessarily bulky.
For durability, Super Lite Foam keeps the wetsuit lightweight while providing the warmth and protection required for regular surfing. Combined with GBS and flatlock seam construction, the Absolute Core is built to offer dependable performance session after session.
The chest zip entry is more modern than the traditional back-zip design, providing a closer, more secure seal around the upper body while helping reduce water flushing. It also creates a clean front panel that allows for comfortable, unrestricted movement when you're paddling and surfing.
And that's where the Absolute Core really stands out. It's not trying to be the most technically advanced wetsuit in the Billabong range, instead, it takes proven materials and essential wetsuit technology and puts them together into a warm, comfortable and dependable suit at an accessible price.
For beginners, occasional surfers, progressing surfers or anyone looking for excellent winter wetsuit performance without spending a fortune, the Absolute Core is a seriously good place to start.
