- F.U.Z.E Enty System: O’Neill’s exclusive F.U.Z.E. (Front Upper Zip Entry) system offers a fresh alternative. Using the same free floating zipper technology as our patented Z.E.N. ZIP closure. The F.U.Z.E. closure keeps you dry and allows unrestricted flexibility.
- Technobutter 3 & TB3X neoprene: O'Neill's exclusive new improved stretch, hydrophobic neoprene with featherlight ENVY foam rubber core. Ultimate, flexibility, warmth and comfort. Combined with Technobutter 3X, the lightest, most flexible, softest material ever created.
- Glued, Blindstitched & taped Seams: Soft and durable neoprene seam tape. 0.5mm split-neoprene applied to triple-glued seams to seal out water keeping you dry and loose.
- Double superseal neck: A toasty warm two layer design featuring a 360˚ smooth skin interior lining, wide adjustablility, and a secure lock down. Fully adjustable and watertight.
- Strategic seamless paddle zones: An ergonomic, seamless under sleeve panel that allows for unrestricted motion and eliminates rashing. Flexible and unique design which utilizes minimal seam placement for comfort.
- Krypto knee padz: Abrasion resistant, high stretch neoprene panel with ergonomic shaping for comfortable durability. Flexible and unique design utilizes and extended knee pad for added durability.
- External key pocket with loop: Abrasion resistant, high stretch neoprene panel with ergonomic shaping for comfortable durability. Located along the lower leg inseam. Constructed with Fluid Seam Weld and UltraFlex DS neoprene, this key pocket has added strength, easy access and completely secure.

The Hyperfreak suits initially consisted of ultra lightweight, summer focused products. Now 7 years on the range has been expanded to an impressive 39 different variations! Technobutter 3 (at the time our most advanced neoprene) enables us to offer a wetsuit which helps bridge the gap between warmth and flexibly. A trade off which can be hard to balance for any surfer. By drastically increasing the air content in the foam neoprene itself and reducing the amount of nylon in the outer and inner jersey TB3 has revolutionised wetsuit design.
In 2022 we released TB4 and added yet another suit to the Hyperfreak family. The Hyperfreak Fire. Our TB4 neoprene is more durable, made from more sustainable fabric and offers increased heat retention by including Graphene fibres in the nylon. Adding to all this internal firewall (a hydrophobic layer helping the suit stay dry and warm) and Fluid Seam Weld (liquid pored polyurethane, maintaining the strength of the seams) The Hyperfreak Fire now brings lightweight flexibility into much colder water conditions.

La serie Hyperfreak presenta l'esclusivo materiale TechnoButter 3 e TB3X, ora più leggero e morbido che mai: il 20% più leggero con il 30% in meno di assorbimento d'acqua.

Utilizza la stessa tecnologia della cerniera flottante della nostra chiusura brevettata Z.E.N. ZIP. La chiusura F.U.Z.E. ti mantiene all'asciutto e garantisce una flessibilità senza limiti.
- Neoprene Technobutter 3 e TB3X: il nuovo neoprene idrofobo ed elasticizzato migliorato, esclusivo di O'Neill, con un'anima in gommapiuma ENVY leggerissima. Massima flessibilità, calore e comfort. Abbinato al Technobutter 3X, il materiale più leggero, flessibile e morbido mai creato.
- Cuciture incollate, cucite a punto invisibile e nastrate: nastro per cuciture in neoprene morbido e resistente. Neoprene spaccato da 0,5 mm applicato alle cuciture a triplo incollaggio per sigillare l'acqua e mantenerti asciutto e libero nei movimenti.
- Doppio collo superseal: un design a due strati che garantisce un calore avvolgente, caratterizzato da una fodera interna liscia a 360°, ampia regolabilità e chiusura sicura. Completamente regolabile e a tenuta stagna.
- Zone strategiche senza cuciture per la pagaiata: un pannello ergonomico senza cuciture sotto la manica che consente movimenti senza restrizioni ed elimina le irritazioni. Design flessibile e unico che utilizza un numero minimo di cuciture per garantire il massimo comfort.

L'O'Neill Hyperfreak è progettato per offrire ai surfisti l'esperienza di surf più confortevole e leggera possibile. Una combinazione di materiali esclusivi e innovativi e i nostri famosi standard elevati in termini di vestibilità ci hanno permesso di lanciare un nuovo concetto nel mercato delle mute. Le mute Hyperfreak inizialmente consistevano in prodotti ultraleggeri, pensati per l'estate. Ora, a distanza di 7 anni, la gamma è stata ampliata fino a raggiungere ben 39 diverse varianti! È di gran lunga la gamma di mute ad alte prestazioni più venduta che abbiamo mai avuto.
Technobutter 3 (all'epoca il nostro neoprene più avanzato) ci permette di offrire una muta che aiuta a colmare il divario tra calore e flessibilità. Un compromesso che può essere difficile da bilanciare per qualsiasi surfista. Aumentando drasticamente il contenuto d'aria nella schiuma di neoprene stessa e riducendo la quantità di nylon nel jersey esterno e interno, TB3 ha rivoluzionato il design delle mute.
Nel 2022 abbiamo lanciato il TB4 e aggiunto un'altra muta alla famiglia Hyperfreak: l'Hyperfreak Fire. Il nostro neoprene TB4 è più resistente, realizzato con un tessuto più sostenibile e offre una maggiore ritenzione del calore grazie all'aggiunta di fibre di grafene nel nylon. A tutto questo si aggiungono l'internal firewall (uno strato idrofobico che aiuta la muta a rimanere asciutta e calda) e il Fluid Seam Weld (poliuretano a pori liquidi, che mantiene la resistenza delle cuciture). L'Hyperfreak Fire offre ora flessibilità e leggerezza in condizioni di acqua molto più fredda.
