Your latest must-have for the 2020 season is the Gill ZenTherm collection, which comes from Gill’s brand-new dinghy range. The collection includes the ZenTherm Skiff Suit and the ZenTherm Top, which are highly technical and easily adaptable pieces that will soon be an indispensable part of your sailing wardrobe. These products are best suited to temperatures of 12-17°C, so perfect for Northern hemisphere sailors.
We’re big fans of the versatility of these pieces, as they’re perfect for mixing and matching with other items, which will allow you to easily adapt your sailing clothing to the temperature. They’re also flexible in the other sense of the word; they’re made from super stretchy neoprene that’s not going to restrict your movement when you need to perform at your peak.
The Gill ZenTherm Skiff Suit is a sleek, black, long john style wetsuit, brightened with pops of colour along the seams. Gill have used zoned neoprene technology to offer 3mm of 4-way stretch neoprene, for an exceptionally comfortable fit and all the flexibility where you need it. Additionally, careful attention has been paid to the seams, which have been glued and blindstitched throughout the suit, and reinforced with neoprene taping in high-stress areas.
It’s a highly versatile option, as it can be worn with a warmer top layer (like the ZenTherm Top), or with a rash vest in warmer weather, or even just alone.
Also available in Women’s and Junior sizes.
Upgrade your skiff suit with the Gill ZenTherm Top, giving you extra insulation around your core, where you need it most. Alternatively, this top can be worn with shorts or hikers, depending on the temperature.
It features the same flexible, thermal technology as the skiff suit, with a slightly thinner 2.5mm of neoprene that has also been glued and blindstitched, with critical neoprene taped seams.
Also available in Women’s and Junior sizes.
Gill ZenTherm is a premium line of exceptionally well thought out sailing clothing, designed to allow you to have maximum freedom on the water. Though it has been primarily designed with dinghy sailing in mind, both the top and the skiff suit would be suited to kayaking and SUP as well, as they facilitate so much movement in the upper body. If you need warmth and comfort on the water, you’ve found what you’re looking for.
